1. use filtered water 2. water temperature should be between 195 and 205 degrees 3. grind coffee beans to a coarse grind 4. grind coffee beans within seconds of brewing 5. use 1.5 grams of coffee per ounce of water 6. pour hot water over beans and give a quick stir to make sure all beans get wet 7. sit lid back onto press 8. brew for total of 3 mins. and 20 secs. 9. press and serve
